PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Gas spring - shock absorber - lifter. For use in upward tilting doors made of wood, aluminum, etc. They are perfect as lifters for the lids of hopper tanks for boilers. Force 120 N. The actuators are very strong. New, of very good quality and durability. 120 N actuator - intended for up to 12 kg. The package with the gas lifter also includes actuator ends, a guide, mounting screws, and an instruction manual. The color of the shock absorber elements is gray-silver.
The gas spring is a hydro-pneumatic sliding element and consists of a pressure tube, a piston rod with a piston, and adapted connectors. It is filled with compressed nitrogen acting at the same pressure on piston cross-sectional areas of different sizes. This causes the release of force in the extension direction. The extension force can be precisely determined within physical limits by appropriately selecting the filling pressure.
APPLICATION
Actuators can also be used in many other industrial fields, e.g., in carpentry. They are perfect for mounting all kinds of doors opening upwards and downwards. They can also be used to install lifting systems for beds, provided the actuator has adequate power.
INSTALLATION POSITION
Gas springs should generally be mounted – except when designed for installation regardless of position – with the piston rod at rest and pointing downwards. This ensures optimal lubrication of the guide and sealing system.
NO TORSION
To avoid damaging the lifespan of gas springs, they must not be subjected to twisting, bending forces, or lateral forces. Properly adapted ends, such as angle joints, can ensure torsion-free guidance.
SAFE OPERATION
The safety of gas springs basically results from the smooth surface of the piston rod and the seal maintaining the internal gas pressure. To protect them, gas springs should not be subjected to bending loads. Damage caused by secondary mechanical processing or even welding on the gas spring, as well as contamination or paint on the piston rod, can lead to device failure.
Avoid any modifications or manipulations, impacts, stretching, heating, excessive painting, or removal of markings.
TEMPERATURE RANGE
The standard temperature range for which gas springs are designed is between -30°C and +80°C. Naturally, gas springs adapted for extreme conditions are also available.
LIFESPAN AND MAINTENANCE
Gas springs do not require maintenance. They do not need lubrication with oils or greases. They are always adapted to specific requirements and operate for many years without disturbances.
DISPOSAL
When gas springs are no longer usable, they should be disposed of with regard to environmental protection. Therefore, they have been specially drilled to release the compressed nitrogen and the oil contained within.
