The UNISTER electronic draft regulator is designed to control the temperature of a solid fuel boiler by opening and closing the flap regulating the air supply to the firebox. Additionally, the device controls the activation of the circulation pump in central heating installations.
DESCRIPTION OF PERFORMED FUNCTIONS

- closing the air intake during fuel loading into the boiler
- control of the central heating circulation pump depending on the set operating temperature

- indication of temperature sensor failure and motor lock/failure raising the flap "Er"
- adjustable display brightness - increased during setting changes
- possibility to connect a remote control panel for boiler operation UNISTER CONTROL - not included in the basic UNISTER set – available as additional equipment

COMFORT SYSTEM Function
The built-in COMFORT SYSTEM function in the controller prevents the circulation pump from being blocked by scale deposits between the pump impeller and stator. The controller automatically switches on the circulation pump outside the heating season for about 30 seconds every 14 days.
FROST PROTECTION Function
The controller protects the central heating installation against freezing by permanently switching on the circulation pump when the temperature at the sensor drops to 4 °C or lower.
BOILER OVERHEATING PROTECTION Function
The controller protects the central heating boiler against overheating in case of sensor failure. In this case, the circulation pump will be switched on permanently.
