PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The ST-290 room thermostat is a universal device for controlling a heating device (e.g., gas, oil, electric furnace or boiler controller). This thermostat is designed to maintain the set temperature in the apartment by sending a signal to the heating device (contact opening) with information about heating the room to the required temperature. The device supports a weekly control program, day/night mode, and manual operation.

There is also a wireless version of the thermostat with an additional signal receiver installed near the boiler controller.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

Control is carried out using the buttons: , , <+>, <-> and . On the main screen view, the user can see the current day of the week, clock, current and set temperature in the apartment, thermostat operating mode, and battery charge level.

Wireless version of the thermostat

The ST-290 room thermostat can optionally be connected to the boiler controller via a wireless signal receiver (ST-290 v2). Such a receiver is connected to the boiler controller using a two-wire cable and communicates with the room thermostat using a radio signal.

The receiver has built-in indicator lights:

- green 1 – indicates data reception and lights up during channel change;

- red – indicates receiver operation;

- green 2 – lights up when the room temperature has not reached the set value – the heating device is on.

To enable the room thermostat to communicate with the wireless receiver, the desired channel must be set. To do this, press and hold the channel change button on the receiver for about 10 seconds – until the first green indicator light turns on. Then change the channel on the room thermostat by pressing and the up arrow. Using the <+> and <–> buttons, set the desired channel and hold the button for about 1 second. The green indicator light on the receiver should turn off. Exiting the channel editing by pressing the up or down arrow will not change the channel.
