BASIC DESCRIPTION
The PPS - 10 KW screw feeder is a device used to feed solid fuel by means of a screw (auger) placed inside a trough from the fuel tank directly to the furnace in the boiler. This ensures that the fuel is fed systematically and evenly, which affects economical operation and user convenience. The screw feeder retort for a 5th Class and EcoDesign boiler with a constant 10 kW power by Domer is designed to work with boilers in the 5th class and EcoDesign.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
The Pancerpol PPS screw feeder with a power of 10 kW is equipped with a Linix gear motor. The Linix motor, with enhanced operating parameters and increased durability, guarantees quiet and trouble-free operation for many years.
The feeder has a steel body and a steel auger equipped with a tip in the form of a bent claw that facilitates scraping fuel from the bent part of the elbow. This solution is protected by patent no. 201027. Additionally, the feeder is equipped with a gear ring and a furnace made of refractory cast iron, ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. The feeder can transport fuel such as hard coal of the pea assortment with a granulation of 5 - 25 mm. Feeders from the standard, DUO, and TRIO series are characterized by low service and maintenance costs. They are environmentally friendly, easy to operate, and maintain.
These feeders are used in boilers heating areas up to 80-120 m2. However, this depends on the building's volume, insulation level, and the fuel used.
