HEATING ELEMENT FOR LAVABO BOILER 1500W 1.5 kW 6/4 WITH THERMOSTAT
Special features:
- Heating element power: 1500 W
- Thread: 6/4 inch
- Temperature adjustment range: from 30 to 65 degrees C
- Supply voltage: 230 V AC
The heating element with temperature controller is used as the primary heat source in typical bathroom radiators, e.g. ladder, panel, etc. It is also used as an additional (spring-summer) heat source in radiators operating in central heating systems. Generally, it is used for water heating.
DIMENSIONS:
- total length: 480 mm
- heating capillary length: 350 mm
- capillary diameter: 8 mm
- thread length: 13 mm
- power cable length: 1.5 m
OPERATING NOTES
- heating elements intended for use in galvanized or enameled steel tanks must not be used in stainless steel tanks
- the heating element must be installed so that the entire element is always submerged in liquid - it should always be installed at the bottom of the device
- connect to power only after filling the device with liquid
- to optimally and economically select the heating element, the heat output provided by the manufacturer of the radiator should be matched with the electric power of the heating element - use heating elements with power slightly lower (100 - 150 W) than the radiator's heat output
- the control lamp lighting indicates heating; after reaching the temperature set by the knob, the lamp goes out
- do not screw in by holding the plastic housing during installation (risk of breaking)
- extension of the connection cable should be entrusted to an authorized service point
- stainless steel heating elements must be galvanically isolated from the tank (grounded or neutralized) to avoid electrochemical corrosion. This task should be performed by a person with SEP qualifications
WARNING REGARDING THE SELECTION OF HEATING ELEMENTS ACCORDING TO WARRANTY CONDITIONS
According to the recommendations and warranty conditions, the power selection relative to the tank capacity should be calculated with a coefficient of at least 18 Watts/liter.
A properly selected heating element will heat the capacity in about 2-3 hours and then calmly regenerate the insulation of the heating coil, waiting for the next heating cycle. For heating elements with too low power, not compliant with the 18 Watts/liter recommendation, operation causes continuous work and overheating of the heating element and controller contacts, leading to premature failure.
For proper operation of the heating element, always use the highest possible power according to the above formula / coefficient 18 W/liter
Optimally 1500 W for tanks up to 80 liters (80 liters x 18 Watts/liter = 1400 W heating element power)
2000 W for tanks up to max 120 liters
3000 W (STANDARD version) for max 160 liters
Larger tanks or commercial use should use 3000W LONG version heating elements, as follows:
For tanks above 180 – 300 liters, we strongly recommend (especially for photovoltaics) using a 3 KW heating element, but in the LONG version
