PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The weather sensor from Prond is a device used to regulate the boiler temperature taking into account the external temperature. For example, when the outside temperature drops, the controller raises the temperature on the boiler. When the outside temperature rises, the controller lowers the boiler temperature to previously set values. In this auction, you will buy the sensor along with a 10-meter cable. It can be connected to a controller placed near the furnace (e.g. Titanic or other Prond controllers equipped with the possibility of connecting a weather sensor). The temperature is set on the controller at the boiler, which controls the sensor placed outside the building.
WHY USE A WEATHER SENSOR?
By using a weather sensor connected to the boiler controller, we gain comfort and convenience. We do not have to worry about changes in the furnace temperature when the outside temperature drops or rises during the day. By setting the temperature range and margin of their changes, we gain certainty that the house will not become too warm when the sun shines more strongly outside heating its walls, or that it will not become cold during our absence when our furnace was left at too low a heating temperature. Our sensor, sending a signal to the controller, will change the set heating value.
INSTALLATION OF THE WEATHER SENSOR
The optimal place to install the sensor is the north or northwest wall of the building. The installation height is about 2-2.5 meters above the ground. In multi-storey buildings, at about the upper part of the first floor. The sensor should not be installed above windows, doors, and air vents, or under balconies or gutters as this may interfere with measurement accuracy. The temperature sensor must not be covered with plaster, insulation, or foliage.
