Material of construction:

housing - aluminum;

ring - stainless steel;

sensor and cover - copper alloy.

The thermometer has zero adjustment at the sensor tip.

The operating principle of the thermometer is based on the use of the phenomenon of different thermal expansion of metals. Temperature measurement is carried out using a bimetallic sensor, which consists of a spiral twisted inseparably from two metal strips with different coefficients of thermal expansion. Under the influence of temperature, the strip bends towards the metal with the lower expansion. The rotation of the bimetal axis is transferred to the pointer indicating the temperature on the dial.
