The SIGNUM 400 controller is designed for regulating the combustion process in forced-draft fine coal boilers and universal boilers.

Temperature regulation involves controlling the blower supplying air to the boiler and the pump responsible for the water circulation process in the system. The manufacturer recommends using blowers based on motors type R2E 120 AR77-05 (used in blowers WBS6, WPA07 and others) and type CM 80.20.00 LT (used in RV blowers). To enhance operational safety, the SIGNUM series 400 controller can cooperate with an emergency thermostat, which additionally protects the boiler. Due to the controller's programming capabilities, it can be adapted to various types of fuel.

It performs the function of comprehensive control of the heating system. It enables regulation of heating circuits equipped with three- or four-way mixing valves and an additional pump operating in the valve circuit. It is possible to configure the valve operation in a radiator or underfloor heating system. To achieve high thermal comfort in the heated building, a room thermostat or a weather algorithm function can be used to support valve regulation. The controller additionally offers a function for preparing domestic hot water (DHW) with the option to select the operating algorithm (winter, summer, off). Depending on the type of boiler, operation can be selected with or without priority. The DHW temperature can be programmed in the range of 40 to 70 °C. The controller has a software protection against overheating.
