PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The exhaust fan is used in solid fuel boilers to improve chimney draft. It is especially useful during lighting the boiler or adding fuel because it prevents smoke from escaping into the boiler room.
Mounted on the boiler's flue pipe, the exhaust fan does not limit the natural flue gas draft but only supports it when the fan is turned on.
INSTALLATION, OPERATION, AND MAINTENANCE
The diameter of the boiler flue pipe and the chimney channel cross-section should not be smaller than the diameter of the installed exhaust fan. The device can be installed both horizontally and vertically. Installation on the boiler flue pipe should be done according to the direction of flue gas flow. After mounting the exhaust on the boiler flue pipe, the gap at the installation site should be sealed with silicone resistant up to 600˚C.
The exhaust fan should be turned on in case of smoke coming from the boiler (too weak natural chimney draft).
Maintenance mainly involves periodic cleaning of the inside of the device, especially the fan blades and the internal walls of the exhaust. To do this, turn off the fan power and unscrew the four nuts securing the fan mounting plate. Disconnecting it from the rest of the unit provides access to the fan blades and the inside of its housing. Periodic cleaning ensures free flow of flue gases through the device, which in turn guarantees trouble-free operation of the exhaust and boiler.
