BASIC DESCRIPTION

The screw feeder is a device used to feed solid fuel by means of a screw (auger) placed inside a trough from the fuel tank directly to the furnace in the boiler. This ensures that the fuel is fed systematically and evenly, which affects economical operation and user convenience.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

The feeder is equipped with a Besel motor (photos are for illustrative purposes only).

The Domer screw feeder with a power of 25 kW is equipped with a gearbox from Ewmar-ness and a Besel motor. The Besel motor, with enhanced operating parameters and increased durability, guarantees quiet and trouble-free operation for many years. The carburizing sleeve of the gear motor, made to special order, protects the system from seizing.

The feeder has a steel body and a steel auger equipped with a tip in the form of a bent claw that facilitates scraping fuel from the bent part of the elbow. Furthermore, the feeder is equipped with a toothed ring and a furnace made of refractory cast iron, ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. The feeder can transport fuels such as hard coal of the pea assortment with a granulation of 5 - 25 mm. Feeders from the Domer series are characterized by low service and maintenance costs. They are environmentally friendly, easy to operate, and maintain.

These feeders are used in boilers heating areas up to 200 m². However, this depends on the building's volume, insulation level, and the fuel used.
