The reducer should be installed so that the smoke flow is directed from the wider to the narrower side of the reducer. Such installation prevents smoke from escaping outside. PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION AND DESCRIPTION

The reducer is designed to reduce the outlet size for connecting the flue pipe from a boiler or fireplace. The wider end fits over a 200 mm diameter pipe. The seal should be durable and precise. Additionally, high-temperature silicone, available in our other listings, should be used for sealing. This provides an outlet to a 130 mm pipe, which fits over the narrower part of the reducer.
