The TITANIC regulator is designed to control boilers with a screw or piston fuel feeder. The regulation process is carried out by measuring the temperature of the liquid in the central heating boiler and appropriately controlling the fuel combustion process in the boiler, preventing it from going out.
The regulator controls the operation of: the feeder, blower, central heating (C.O.) pump, domestic hot water (D.H.W.) pump.
The fan power is smoothly controlled, which allows limiting the amount of air supplied during the combustion process.
A room thermostat or a remote control panel (e.g., PILOR R) can be connected to the regulator, enabling the maintenance of a specified temperature inside a given room. This increases the comfort of using the regulator.
The regulator is equipped with:
– C.O. boiler temperature sensor, – feeder temperature sensor - protects the boiler against the backflow of embers to the feeder;
– domestic hot water tank sensor
– boiler thermostat 90 °C - protects the boiler against temperature rise above 90 °C
The regulator controls the operation of the C.O. and D.H.W. pumps in four operating modes: operation without D.H.W. pump; winter; spring/autumn (D.H.W. priority); summer.
The use of a semiconductor element to control the feeder increases the reliability of the feeder motor control.
TECHNICAL PARAMETERS
Power supply voltage: ~230 V; 50 Hz
Protection - fast fuse links: 6.3A / ~230 V
Boiler, feeder, D.H.W. temperature sensor: DS18B20
Power consumption (regulator only): up to 5 W
Protection degree from the control panel side: IP 62
Temperature measurement range: 0÷100°C
Output load capacity:
– C.O. pump ~230V; relay output with RC circuit: 250 W
– D.H.W. pump ~230V; relay output with RC circuit: 250 W
– blower ~230V; semiconductor output with RC circuit: 250 W
– feeder ~230V; semiconductor output with RC circuit: 250 W
Maximum total output current: 6 A
Emergency thermostat activation temperature:
– external/internal hardware: ~90/~94 °C
– software: 93 °C
Ambient temperature during regulator operation: 5÷45 °C
Maximum ambient humidity: 75 %
Pump activation at low temperatures: below 5 °C
Pump activation: every 14 days for 1 minute
- prevents the pump from seizing after the heating season
(this function works only if the regulator is turned on)
