BASIC FUNCTIONS OF THE CONTROLLER

The ART P controller is designed for automatic switching on and off of the circulation pump in central heating installations with a coal or gas boiler according to the set temperature, which is adjusted using the knob. The sensor in the controller measures the temperature of the water at the supply of the central heating installation. After the boiler goes out, the controller switches off the pump. Pumping water with a cooling boiler is not recommended, as the water in the boiler cools faster than in the radiators.

The controller has two indicator lights.

The "Power" light indicates the controller is connected to the power socket.
The "Pump" light indicates the pump is operating.

The controller has two operating modes, selected by a switch:

Continuous operation
Automatic

"Automatic" mode

The controller switches on the pump when the sensor temperature reaches the value set by the knob. The controller switches off the pump at a temperature about 5°C lower than the pump switch-on temperature. In this mode, the controller switches off the pump after the boiler goes out.

"Continuous operation" mode

The pump is continuously on, regardless of the sensor temperature. This mode can be used for testing the controller and pump as well as for temporary manual pump activation outside the heating season.

BASIC FUNCTIONS OF THE PUMP

IBO - OHI pumps are designed to force water circulation in central heating and domestic hot water installations. They can also be used in solar heating systems, air conditioning, and cooling circulation systems.

With the pump, the customer receives gaskets for unions (2 pieces), a Polish user and installation manual, and a warranty card.

The pump installation should be performed on a straight pipe section between two shut-off valves, in a place accessible for venting, inspection, or service. The pump should be installed so that the pump axis is positioned horizontally. Before starting the pump installation, it is essential to read the user manual.
