Fire-resistant silicone sealant 1500°C

Resistant sealing mass based on water glass, intended for repairs and sealing in places exposed to very high temperatures.

Application:

  • sealing gaps and joints exposed to direct contact with fire. Ideal for sealing connections of pipes and exhaust elbows of the Bertrams system and others.
  • sealing fireplaces, stoves, grates

APPLICATION

Before starting application, the product should be conditioned at room temperature. Before use, cut the cartridge tip leaving part of the thread to screw in the outlet nozzle. Cut the outlet nozzle at a sharp 45-degree angle to the width of the joint. Extrude the sealant using a mechanical or pneumatic caulking gun. Perform finishing within about 30 minutes after application. Smooth joints with a sealant spreading block, spatula, or finger dipped in water to reduce adhesion. Remove masking tape before a skin forms. Leave the joint to dry completely. Clean before curing with water or soapy water. After curing, remove sealant from hands with soapy water, and from tools mechanically. Do not wash hands with solvent.
