IBO Heats diaphragm vessels are designed for use in solar, heating, and cooling systems to maintain and equalize pressure changes caused by the increase in the volume of the medium. Every effort should be made to ensure that the vessel membrane is not damaged. If the vessels are to operate in water heating systems, the maximum membrane temperature specified by the manufacturer on the nameplate should be checked before installation.

The diaphragm vessels are made of high-quality steel, coated externally with an epoxy-polyester layer protecting the vessel against corrosion. The vessel membrane is made of EPDM material.

The maximum glycol content in the system with the vessel must not exceed 50%.

IBO HEATS diaphragm vessels are not suitable for contact with oils, chemical fluids, petroleum products, solvents, and all fluids from group 1 fluids listed in Directive 2014/68/EU.
