IBO Heats diaphragm vessels are designed for use in solar, heating, and cooling systems to maintain and equalize pressure changes caused by the increase in the volume of the medium. Every effort should be made to ensure that the tank membrane is not exposed to damage. If the vessels are to operate in water heating systems, the maximum membrane temperature specified by the manufacturer on the nameplate data should be checked before installation.

The diaphragm vessel is a very important element of the hydraulic installation responsible for protecting the system against pressure increases caused by changes in the volume of the fluid due to temperature rise in the system, for example, caused by the operation of a heating device.

INCREASED TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE

A properly selected diaphragm vessel allows maintaining the appropriate pressure throughout the entire installation.

The diaphragm vessels are made of high-quality steel, coated with an external epoxy-polyester layer protecting the vessel against corrosion. The vessel membrane is made of EPDM material.

COMPLIANCE WITH DIRECTIVE 2014/68/EU.

The maximum glycol content in the system with the vessel must not exceed 50%.

IBO HEATS diaphragm vessels are not suitable for contact with oils, chemical fluids, petroleum products, solvents, and all fluids from group 1 fluids listed in Directive 2014/68/EU.
