Provides extended heater operation under conditions with photovoltaic installations (compared to typical heaters from other manufacturers)

This is a heater with a special coil design and additional dynamic protection compensating for unstable supply voltage caused by:

# The presence of clusters of photovoltaic installations nearby, causing so-called "inverter wars"

# Installation close to a power transformer – resulting in elevated voltage in the network

# Own photovoltaics, especially operation in off-grid mode

# Frequent power outages and resulting surges after power is restored by the energy provider

# Frequent storms, especially in mountainous regions

# Lack of a voltage stabilizer; using this heater eliminates the need for an expensive voltage stabilizer

Please remember that the above situations negatively affect the operation of a typical heater and in extreme cases cause the heating element to burn out. Energy network operators such as Tauron, PGE, etc. are unable to provide stable voltage because excessive photovoltaics overload old power grids. Using the heater in the VOLTaika version is the only solution in such situations and reduces susceptibility to failure.

LONG VERSION HEATERS ARE:

The special LONG heater differs from STANDARD heaters of the same power in that it has two heating coils inside, which dissipate heat to the water faster. The heater is additionally specially elongated, in a straight state it has more than twice the heat dissipation surface - this provides more optimal working conditions, reduces limescale buildup and significantly extends the heater's lifespan compared to a standard 3000W heater - recommended for tanks of 180-300 liters

LONG heaters are specially shaped to fit typical tanks (loop length about 480 mm)

Recommended heater powers for tank capacities when using tanks as heat accumulators with photovoltaics (new subsidy program)

For cheap heating of tanks with capacities over 200 liters (thermal energy accumulators) using cheap energy from photovoltaics, the heater should operate in the shortest possible time max 5 hours, i.e., when there is the most sun and energy on the market is cheapest. The customer then saves thanks to the electricity they produce themselves, which the energy provider does not want to buy back at a reasonable price

Only a 3 KW LONG version heater meets these assumptions. A lower power heater makes no sense, e.g., 2 KW extends heating time by 30%, up to 8 hours, causing the customer with an underpowered heater to lose money, because photovoltaics are much less efficient in the afternoon, and electricity from the supplier is at a higher price than at noon.

If a customer without photovoltaics wants to heat water during the night tariff, a 2 KW heater in LONG version can be used for up to 200 liters, because the heating time of about 8 hours can fit within the night hours of the second tariff. Currently, this is a rare case because night energy prices are no longer attractive and are close to daytime prices.

NOTE REGARDING HEATER SELECTION ACCORDING TO WARRANTY CONDITIONS

According to recommendations and warranty conditions, power selection for tank capacity should be calculated with a minimum coefficient of 18 Watts/liter.

A properly selected heater will heat the capacity in about 2-3 hours and then calmly regenerate the heating coil insulation, waiting for the next heating cycle. For too low heater powers, not compliant with the 18 Watts/liter recommendation, operation causes continuous work and overheating of the heating element and controller contacts, leading to premature damage.

For proper heater operation, always use the highest possible heater power according to the above formula / coefficient 18 W/liter

Optimally 1500 W for tanks up to 80 liters (80 liters x 18 Watts/liter = 1400 W heater power)

2000 W for tanks up to max 120 liters

3000 W (STANDARD version) up to max 160 liters

For larger tanks or commercial use, use 3000W heaters LONG version, as below:

For tanks above 180 – 300 liters, we strongly recommend (especially for photovoltaics) using a 3 KW heater, but in LONG version,
