The PHOBOS room thermostat/room panel is an element that extends the range and functionality of the temperature controller. It is mainly used in cooperation with controllers from the FUEGO Plus series (models 5Klasa and EcoDesign) and selected models of the Signum 500 series.
This panel allows viewing alarm states, changing/viewing temperatures, changing/viewing controller parameters in real time with effects on both connected panels simultaneously. Changes are applied immediately. Additionally, it has a sensor that measures the temperature at the device installation location, so it functions as a room thermostat. Based on this reading, it can control the temperature controller and the combustion process. The device has a modern, attractive appearance and a solid construction (powder-coated metal housing + plastic front).
Room controllers regulate the boiler operation based on the temperature in the room where they are installed. This form of boiler control ensures the proper combustion process and thus economical heat production. Thanks to the controllers, heat is delivered only when needed and only to the designated place so that the desired temperature set by the occupants is maintained everywhere. Such temperature level regulation, adapted to day and night times, ensures lower electricity consumption and saves thermal energy. The controller functions can be user-oriented (e.g., setting the hours during which a specific temperature should be maintained in the building) or related to the heating device's operating algorithm itself (e.g., boiler water temperature). When the building temperature falls below the user-set level, the controller forces the heat source to operate. This is feedback regulation, meaning the controller does not predict or monitor the amount of heat lost but reacts to real changes that result in temperature modification.
